The Nature Of The Muse

Robert Graves, in his book on the Greek myths, said the muses were originally the triple goddesse, in her orgiastic aspect.

After we see the historical pattern, of conflict, between God and the devil, played out in the Mediterranean region, we get to see, that the orgy is not a way that is “of us”.

I studied quite a few topics in the Graves book, by lookin in the index, and ignorin the myths, themselves, but readin Robert’s numbered notes on each of my chosen topics.

It was easy to find a duality between matriarchy, goddesse-worship, serpent-worship, orgy, abandon, and human sacrifice, on the one hand,

…versus patriarchy, god-worship, order, and non-human sacrifice, on the other.

It is the connection, between matriarchy and snake-worship, that identifies the devil as the source of it.

I suspect, that many, of the gods, of the patriarchal side, were originally embodiments of the Supreme Bein, same as Jesus, Krsna, Buddha, Mohammed, Sri Hans, and Prem Rawat.

It is a fact, which you can find in scriptures, I believe that Mahabharata is one of them, that the Supreme Lord is embodied again and again, without any lag time in-between — no “lame duck” time.

How does this reconcile with the promise, of Jesus, that he would be gone, but would come back?  It means he would embody amon other folks, other than the Israelites, for a while, then come back, to the Israelites, which he did in 1971.

By “he”, I don’t mean an exact replica of the erst form of Jesus, but any embodiment of the Supreme Bein.

Thus, Thor, Wotan, and Zeus — any one of them — may have been embodiments of the Supreme Bein.  It is always a male, so Athena could not have been one.  There is documentation, about the historical Athena, in the Oera Linda Book.

Film Artists Brainstorm A Movin Picture Here!

This post is just a start, to “kick off” the conversation.  We shall brainstorm the best movin picture ever to have been made.

Here are some parameters, I would like to see, in a movin picture:

1)  Each shot is either a Jung Mandala, or is part of a sequence, that forms a Jungian mandala.

2)  Subliminal messages in the dialogue are all positive affirmations.  For example, if the first word in each sentence, or the most emphasized words in a dialogue, form a hidden sentence:

WE don’t APPRECIATE YOU bein here.

Or:

Phyllis:  WE haven’t seen you in a while, Ted

Glenda:  APPRECIATE what we have been goin through.

Ted:  YOU got it, Sweetys!

Bible’s stories don’t work as films.  For a limited audience they do.  Gibson’s film didn’t work, only the publicity worked.

However, Bible’s stories can be narrated within the context of another story, that happens in another period.

The spoof of Terminator and Jesus worked really well to get a few points across, about the common stereotype of Jesus.  For me, just showin the story itself would have been less interestin.

It could depend upon what the audience is used to.  Folks, who hear Bible’s stories all the time, might be more open to the straight presentation.

Thus, to present a Bible’s story, present a lot of them, and be sure, that they are seen often, and eventually the format will become familiar.

Is the latter true?  It would need to be tested.
